I had the best time ever at the Heart concert last night. Ann & Nancy where on their game, opening with "Barracuda" and rocking the house. It was awesome. At the start of every song, I tweeted what it was. (you Tweeps best feel special, i had to look away from the awesomeness that is HEART to look at my phone to text!) They then did "Never", "Kick it Out", "Straight On", "Love Alive", (which has got to be one of my top 10 favorite songs of theirs live, just cuz I love how the music flows, and Ann playing the flute live is just the fucking SHIT!) and "Mistral Wind".

Towards the ending of "Mistral Wind" I'd called shaych_03  on the phone, so I couldn't tweet anymore, nor could I try and keep track of what the rest of the set and encore entailed. LOL I was having such a great time. However, in no particular order, they played "Crazy On You", "Alone", "These Dreams", "Battle of Evermore" (or was it "Immagrant Song"? Fuck maybe it was both? I really can't remember now, but it fucking ROCKED!!!), "You Wreck Me", "Love Reign O'er Me", "Goin' to California", and they closed the encore with "Magic Man".

Apparently my 'concert call' was a major bust, as shaych_03  could only make out "Crazy On You" and then a bunch of fans screaming at the top of their lungs the rest of the time. LOL I was deaf by the end of the concert, for sure. I do wish I'd thought ahead and gotten some earplugs for the hubby. (as he's already got hearing problems, and where we where standing was REALLY loud)

We where only 20 feet away from the stage! I SWEAR 20 mother fucking feet away from the awesome that is Ann & Nancy Wilson of HEART!!!!

Ok so those on Twitter have been keeping up with some of the issues I've been dealing with in the past week. You LJ users are probably all in the dark, so here is what has been going on, and some updates that never made it to Twitter.

(Funny tidbit - You do NOT see the lighter in this, probably cuz they stupidly auctioned it off with a tube of tauron toothpaste!) LOL

Anyhoo, I don't want to give up too much of the plot, cuz it does get more interesting as certain things get revealed. I'm not sure I needed to see this a year before it plans on being on TV, but I'm glad I got it, and now I'm sure to tune in when it finally airs.

Oh one more thing. I want a MyVu to play with now. However with a $299.99 price tag... I'm not going to spend. (not even with a $25 coupon) What gets me, is the "Crystal" version is what the coupon is for, yet the "Sport" one is cheaper, and the battery lasts more than double the amount of time. I think if I did decide to get me one of these, the "Sport" is the way I'd go. ;o)

While at Best Buy, getting my copy of "Caprica" (which goes on sale today, don't forget to get yours!) I also looked in the T's of the tv show dvd's, looking for season 8 of "That's 70's Show" (to complete the hubby's collection). They didn't have s8 only s1, but as I'm walking back down the isle, I see "Supernatural" is on sale ($19.99 per season). I've seen plenty of Tweets about the show, and how great it is, as well as LJ posts about the joy peeps get out of watching it.

I figure I'll give it a go, since it's only 20 bucks. I only got the first season, and if I like it, I'll probably go back and get the other two seasons that where available to me. We shall see.

I'm waiting for Brother-Man's nap time to watch "Caprica" so I wont have to listen to Wubbzy theme song in the background. My reviews of "Caprica" & "Supernatural" will be posted later.

Finally watched the last 2 episodes of "Law & Order: SVU".

Hell: Umm 3rd episode with Alex and they didn't even go to court? Didn't understand what the guy meant at the end, that he had to die so everyone would see the children soldiers.

Baggage: 4th episode with Alex, at least we see her in the courtroom, even if it was a short scene. Jeri Ryan, ooo but OMG that's it? Why do they even bother?

Gah! Seriously folks, why on earth did they bring herAlex back if they are not going to actually use her? She's got what, 2 episodes left and she hasn't been in the court room for longer than a few moments. And WTF with the barely used Jeri Ryan? GAH!

I've not watched much CSI episodes since Gil went away. (actually only about two, but they're all still on my DVR and I'll get around to them eventually) ;o)

Anyhoo, I see an update on Twitter from speakerwiggin about being forced to watch CSI cuz of it's "Star Trek"-ish theme. I'm curious, enough to start watching it tonight after watching Survivor with KK.

So I'm watching, and it starts out at some Sci-Fi (or is that SyFy?) convention and someone who's planning on 'reimaging' an old tv show, is found beaten to death on a stage.

Hodges (a con goer) calls in the death to Brass, and actually says "He's dead Jim." to which me and the hubby just cut up laughing so hard we woke the kids up.

The episodes continues to be make us laugh and go "ooo look who that is" through-out, and I've never laughed so hard I cried at a CSI episode where there was a dead body involved!

There where other notible things in this episode.

Ron Moore the Writer/Producer of the ReImaged "Battlestar Galactica" was on hand in the crowd of 'fans' to watch the reimaged show, and says "You SUCK!". Of course it's not too shocking to see him there, cuz Grace Parks (who plays Boomer/Sharon/Athena/#8 Cylon on BSG) was also mixed in with the fans. Later, Kate Vernon (who plays Ellen Tigh on BSG) is questioned in connection to the death.

David is going around giving 'Dr. McCoy' one liners all over the place. "I'm not a seamstress, I'm a medical examiner investigator!" or "You're a corinor, not a couch potato!"

It was a lovely episode.
